If a menu has the word “homemade” scattered across it, I would say it’s worth checking out. SzendZso happened to be one of the cafés I came across in Budapest that served breakfast a little later, which is always needed after a long night. The drinks are full of unique fruits not commonly used in the States, and they also make house syrups with extracts like elderflower. I can’t say I have ever had currants before ordering them in a lemonade, so I enjoyed chewing on the little berries at the end of my meal.
